The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will put a six game winning streak on the line Tuesday night when they travel to Thibodaux to take on Nicholls State.

Game time is scheduled for 6pm at Ray E. Didier Field.  Torrential rain and winds hit the Thibodaux area Monday with more rain in the forecast but the schools are hoping to get the game in.

Louisiana (28-15, 13-7 Sun Belt) has won 13 of its last 15 games after sweeping UT Arlington over thee weekend.  Nicholls (24-16-1, 11-10 Southland) dropped two of three games over the weekend to McNeese State.

This will be the second meeting of the year between the two teams. The Colonels took a 3-1 win over the Cajuns earlier this season in Lafayette.  In that game, the Cajuns made four errors, leading to three unearned runs.

Nicholls is hitting .251 as a team, while the Cajuns are hitting .282.  The Colonels boast one of the best team ERA's in college baseball, ranked eighth in the country with a 2.42 mark.  Marc Frazier (1-5, 4.11) will get the start for Nicholls.  It was undecided Monday evening who would start for the Cajuns.

It's the final road mid-week game for the Cajuns, who are scheduled to host UNO on Wednesday.
