Cajuns Game Week: Mississippi State Depth Chart Released

It's game week for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, finally! The Cajuns will face a tough SEC opponent in the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday, August 31st at 11 a.m. in New Orleans at the Super Dome.

On Monday, the Bulldogs released their official game one depth chart as they ready for Louisiana.

One of the biggest things that stands out when it comes to the depth chart is at the quarterback position as Penn State transfer Tommy Stevens is in line for the start.

Now, that's not anything we didn't already know but what really stands out is that back-up QB Keytaon Thompson is not listed. There have been recent reports that he has entered his name in the transfer portal and thus will not be active for the game this Saturday.

If Stevens were to come down with an injury things could get very interesting under center for State with freshman dual-threat QB Garrett Shrader as the lone back-up...
