Louisiana Ragin' Cajun forward Shawn Long has been named to the Lou Henson All-America Team by collegeinsider.com, making him 1 of 31 finalists for the prestigious award.

Long, a first-team All Sun Belt selection the last two seasons, is averaging a double-double on the season of 16.4 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.

With 51 double-doubles in his three seasons with Louisiana, Long is currently 3rd in the nation among active players in that category.

Shawn has a chance to reach 52 in his career tonight when the Cajuns host Evansville at Blackham Coliseum in the quarterfinals of the CIT.

As a Lou Henson Award All American, Long becomes a finalist for the Lou Henson Award, given to the nation's best player at the mid-major level.
