Bad weather has postponed Thursday's night's game eight of the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament.

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns and Texas State Bobcats were scheduled to play in a winner's bracket game at Bobcat Ballpark originally slated for 7:30pm.

The game has been rescheduled to begin 45 minutes after the duration of the UT-Arlington vs Georgia Southern matchup. That game was postponed Thursday in the top of the 3rd inning. It will resume at 9am Friday morning.

Louisiana versus Texas State will not start earlier than 11:30am.

There were a pair of other weather delays during the Thursday schedule.  Game six between Arkansas State and Troy began at 12;30, but a weather delay of over two hours began in the second inning.  Play finally resumed at 3:45 pm with Arkansas State taking a 13-12 win

The Cajuns were still scheduled to play, but a lightning delay in game seven between Georgia Southern and UT Arlington in the third inning forced the postponement of the Cajuns' contest.

Friday's schedule originally called for just two games beginning at 3:00.  South Alabama will play the loser of Georgia Southern-UT Arlington., while the loser of UL-Texas State will meet Arkansas State in a 6:30 elimination game.

Tomorrow's game will be heard on ESPN1420 with pre-game beginning 30 minutes prior to first pitch.
