Louisiana head baseball coach Tony Robichaux has announced the signing of eleven new players to the 2019 class during the fall signing period.

Included in the mix are five pitchers, three position players and three two-way players in this class.  Eight of the signees are high school players, while the Cajuns also signed three players from the junior college ranks.

Robichaux noted the quality of recruits is on the rise in no small part to the newly renovated M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.

"This type of class helps to protect us if we were to lose juniors to the draft. At the same time, we feel that we have some guys in this class who are going to be drafted. It's a good problem to have when the players you sign are also being looked at by professional programs. You know you are upgrading in recruiting when you are dealing with the draft."--Louisiana head coach Tony Robichaux.
