The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns' basketball team has been picked to finish seventh in the Sun Belt Conference, according to a poll released Wednesday by the league.

The selection isn't a surprise, as the Cajuns will field a young squad this coming season, with no seniors on the roster.  Coach Garry Brodhead welcomes seven new players, including five freshmen to his 12 person roster.

Little Rock was a narrow choice to win the league over second choice Troy.  Texas State is picked third and UTA fourth.  Arkansas State and South Alabama were fifth and sixth, respectively, with Louisiana, Coastal Carolina, Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State and ULM rounding out the poll.

Little Rock's Ronjanae DeGray the niece of former Ragin Cajun men's basketball player Reggie DeGray, was named Pre-Season Player of the Year.  Louisiana sophomore Skyler Goodwin was named to the third team.

The Cajuns will host LSU-Shreveport in an exhibition on November 1 before hosting Lamar in the regular season opener on November 6th.
