Cajun Softballer DJ Sanders Named National Player of the Week

Accolades continue to pour in for Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball shortstop DJ Sanders.

Tuesday she was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the week for the second consecutive week and fifth time in 2017.

She also earned Louisville Slugger NFCA Division I National Player of the Week honors and USA Softball's Player of the Week, outshining the rest of the country.

There's no arguing Sanders deserves the honors. She batting .833 last week with 4 home runs, 13 runs scored, 10 RBI and a ridiculous 2.833 slugging percentage.
