Cajun Baseball Ranked #1 In The Country In Latest Polls

Lost in the excitement of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team earning the #6 overall national seed is the latest polls, where the Cajuns rank #1 in the NCAA.

After winning 4 out of 4 games at the Sun Belt Conference tournament, winning the tournament championship, maintaining the best record in the NCAA (53-7), as well as the longest winning streak in the nation (10 games),  Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun baseball team will head into the postseason as the #1 ranked team in the Country.

The Cajuns move up one spot to #1 in the latest USA Today/Coaches poll, Collegiate Baseball, NCBWA (National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association), and Baseball America polls. The Perfect Game poll will be released tomorrow due to the Memorial Day holiday as will the official NCBWA poll.

However, we've learned through sources that the Cajuns sit atop the NCBWA poll.
