New Orleans Pelicans guard Buddy Hield has seen his play improve steadily since the start of the season.

The rookie is coming off a 20 point performance last night in Cleveland. He scored a career-high 21 on December 15th in a win over Indiana, a highlight in a terrific month of play for the 6th overall pick out of Oklahoma.

In the month of December, Hield led all Western conference rookies in three pointers (33), three-point percentage (.478) and scoring (10.6ppg).

Hield's recent rise in play and comfortability in the Pelicans offense has led to more playing time and a better win share for New Orleans, who currently sits a game and a half back of 8th place in the West after beginning the season 2-10.
