Brown Transferring From Cajuns’ Basketball

Roydell Brown, who played in 32 games a freshman for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns basketball team, has decided to transfer.

The announcement was made today by head coach Bob Marlin.

"We appreciate everything that Roydell has done for our program and we respect his decision to pursue other options," Marlin said. "We wish nothing but the best in his future and are hopeful that he will be able to reach his academic and athletic goals."

Brown started ten games during the season and averaged ten minutes per game.  The New Orleans (Helen Cox) product averaged 2.9 points and 1.5 rebounds per contest.
