Bobby Petrino to be Named Coach at Missouri St.
A former head coach in both the SEC and Sun Belt Conference, as well as the NFL, has apparently found a new gig, after one year away from football.
According to reports, Bobby Petrino is expected to be named the new head coach at Missouri St.
Missouri St., located in Springfield, Missouri, is an FCS football program.
The 58-year old Petrino, who most recently served as the head coach at Louisville for five years (2013-2018), his second stint at the school, was the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons in 2007, guiding them to 3-10 record, before resigning to become the head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks from 2008-2011, where he compiled an overall record of 34-17.
A native of Lewistown, Montana, Petrino served as head coach at WKU for one season (2013) when that school was in the Sun Belt Conference, coaching the Hilltoppers to an 8-4 campaign.
Petrino has compiled an overall record of 119-56 over 14 seasons as a head coach in the college ranks, to go along with his 3-10 record in the NFL.
