Baseball fans, it seems the time has come. You may not be a Toronto Blue Jays fan but if you're a fan of Major League Baseball then you know the hype surrounding super prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr. son of Hall of Famer Vlad Guerrero.

Blue Jays first-year manager Charlie Montoyo announced on Wednesday that the organization will be promoting their stud third base prospect in Guerrero Jr.

Toronto will play host to the Oakland Athletics on Friday for the beginning of a three-game series. Right-hander Mike Fiers is scheduled to start for Oakland and Marcus Stroman will be on the bump for the Blue Jays.

This kid is going to be fun to watch, I always enjoyed watching his father play the game unless he was playing against my New York Mets of course. As a pure baseball fan it's going to a blast, yes pun intended.
