A man who served as Saints' owner Tom Benson's personal assistant for 25 years has amended a lawsuit naming Benson's wife Gayle as a defendant, claiming Gayle Benson made racially discriminatory comments before having him kicked out of the Saints organization.

Rodney Henry filed a lawsuit in federal court against the Saints back in November, claiming he was owed back pay for long hours on the job.  The suit was amended Tuesday.

Henry claims harassment began after he was deposed in a lawsuit filed by three of Benson's relatives claiming the Saints' owner was mentally incompetent.  The suit was thrown out, although the relatives are appealing the decision.

According to the suit, Gayle Benson railed against Henry for taking her husband to the hospital at Benson's request.  The suit claims Gayle Benson called Henry a "black sonofabitch."

Henry, according to the suit, was making $50,000 a year when he was fired, but claims long hours made him eligible for overtime.
