Badeaux Chosen to Head UL Track and Field

Lon Badeaux, who achieved All-American status as an indoor track performer for Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns, is returning to Lafayette to head the mens' and womens' indoor and outdoor track and cross-country programs.

Badeaux comes home after spending twelve years at Arkansas State, the last four as head coach.  The Red Wolves women finished second and the men third at the recent Sun Belt Conference outdoor track championships.

Badeaux received his undergraduate degree from UL in 1996.  He got his master's degree at Arkansas State three years later.
