Jeremy Hill has been reinstated to the LSU football program after a team meeting in which coach Les Miles said the team voted unanimously to take him back.

For the twice convicted Hill, it's another chance after pleading guilty to misdemeanor battery.  He was already on probation at the time of his arrest back on April 29.  His probation has been extended and he has been ordered to perform community service.

Not all those who follow sports are impressed with the decision of the judge involved or in Miles himself.  Gregg Doyel of CBSSports.com is critical of Miles' decision to let the players decide Hill's fate, and Gannett's Glenn Guilbeau says the judge sent the wrong message.
