Brooks Koepka shot a two under par 68 Sunday to win his second consecutive US Open title.

Koepka birdied three of the first four holes to take the early lead, then clinched the title with a birdie on 16 and shot one over par for the tournament despite a bogey on 18

Tommy Fleetwood, who shot a 78 on Saturday to seemingly take himself out of contention, tied a US Open record by shooting seven under par 63 to finish at two over par, just one shot back.  He missed an eight foot putt on the final hole which would have set the record and, as it turned out, would have forced a playoff.

Dustin Johnson, who led the tournament after the second round before ballooning to a 77 on Saturday, shot even part 70 to finish two shots back.

Koepka is the first repeat champion since Curtis Strange in 1988-89
