Winning the BCS National Championship is paying off for Auburn Coach Gene Chizik in a big way.

Chizik is getting a 1.3 million dollar salary bump.  He'll now have a salary of 3.5 million, which will make him the fourth-highest paid coach in the Southeastern Conference.  Only Nick Saban of Alabama, Les Miles of LSU and Bobby Petrino of Arkansas are paid more.

But Chizik can earn even more.  According to the story on espn.com, Chizik's new deal has incentives that could boost his income to 4.5 million dollars.

Chizik is 22-5 in two seasons with the Tigers.
