Former Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun linebacker Boris Anyama was credited with one tackle in his second preseason game with the Atlanta Falcons, and saw playing time in the first and third preseason games as well.

Anyama was cut by the Falcons today as Atlanta trims down it's preseason roster from 90 to 75.

Anyama spent 5 years with the Cajuns after redshirting as a freshmen, developing into a key defensive player for Louisiana in 2014, finishing with 35 tackles, 2 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.

Joining Anyama on the Falcons cuts are WR Marquez Clark, RB Michael Ford, WR John Harris, DT Warren Herring, NT Derrick Hopkins, OT Matt Huffer, CB Michael Lee, G Eric Lefeld, LB Terrell Manning, DE Sam Meredith, TE Mickey Shuler and C Valerian Ume-Ezeoke.
