There is a lot of anticipation swirling around Louisiana football for the 2019 season.

And, with good reason.

The Cajuns won the West Division last year and played in the Sun Belt title game.  And, Athlon's pre season magazine recognizes there is plenty of talent returning.

The magazine tabbed 15 Ragin' Cajuns to their preseason all-conference team.  That number was second in the league, tied with defending champion Appalachian State and one spot behind Troy.

Offensive linemen Robert Hunt and Kevin Dotson were named to the first team along with All Purpose/running back Trey Ragas and return specialist Raymond Calais.

Running back Elijah Mitchell and WR JaMarcus Bradley were named to the second team on offense, while DL Bennie Higgins and LB Jacques Boudreaux were named to the second team on defense.

The third team features running back Raymond Calais and center Cole Prudhomme, while defensive honors on the third team went to DL Zi/Yon Hill and LB Chauncey Manac.

LB Joe Dillon, who missed all of last year with an injury and DB Michael Jacquet were named to the fourth team on defense, along with specialist K Stevie Artigue, who also missed all of last season with an injury.

The complete team can be seen here, courtesy of Athlon's.
