Well, that escalated quickly. The Houston Astros were trailing the Cleveland Indians 2-1 heading into the top of the seventh and after the eighth inning the Stros were leading 10-2 after throwing up 9 runs. They eventually won the game 11-3 and completed the sweep of the Indians, this is the second straight year Terry Francona's squad is making an ALDS exit from the playoffs.

Dallas Keuchel was on the mound to start the game for Houston with Brian McCann behind the plate and the two seemed to have trouble getting on the same page all day long. However, he was able to fire five innings of two run ball and keep the Astros in the game. Colin McHugh was solid for two innings, Lance McCullers Jr. fired a scoreless eighth before Will Harris finished things off in the ninth.

As I had mentioned, things came apart at the seams for the Indians in the seventh and eighth innings. In the seventh, Trevor Bauer committed a throwing error that would eventually allow two runs to score. In the eighth, George Springer launched his second homerun of the game and Carlos Correa added a three-run shot himself to put the icing on the Astros cake.

Houston now awaits the winner of the New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox ALDS which is tied at 1. Game three is tonight.
