Armstrong And Te’o Lead List Of America’s 10 Most Disliked Athletes

Forbes.com has released its annual list of the 10 most disliked athletes in America. Recent tabloid headlines led two athletes who had never appeared on the yearly list to rank #1 and #2 this year. Disgraced doping cyclist Lance Armstrong, and Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o, top the list of 10.

Armstrong's induction makes sense, considering he's been exposed as not only a cheater, but a bully and a liar. Te'o on the other hand, is interesting. He was the victim of an internet hoax, but continued to (at times ignoramusly) perpetuate a lie to the media that his girlfriend had died of cancer in the Fall. His girlfriend never existed, as Te'o had been catfished.

Who else appeared on the list? For the fourth straight year, Tiger Woods appeal rate is low, coming in at 19%. That's not much better than Armstrong (15%0 and Te'o (15%).
