A state school is losing its head softball coach.

Andy Lee is leaving LSU Eunice to accept the head coaching position at Northwest Florida State College.

LSUE is an NJCAA Division II school, while Northwest Florida State College is an NJCAA Division I program.

In 11 seasons at LSUE, Lee guided the Bengals to six national championships, including 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2019.

During his tenure at LSUE, Lee compiled an overall record of 582-107 overall record.

A former college baseball player, and the son of former Major League Baseball pitcher Bill Lee, Lee spent three seasons as the head coach Hinds Community College, prior to taking over at LSUE.
