The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns have apparently lost one of their verbal commitments.

Andray Pope, a running back from Hillcrest High School in Evergreen, Alabama, reopened his recruitment earlier this week.

The Advertiser's Tim Buckley alerted us to Pope's decision.

Pope gave a verbal pledge to Louisiana back in June.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Pope, who also projects as a strong safety and outside linebacker, rushed for 1,493 yards and 22 touchdowns as a junior in 2018.

Pope, who is scheduled to graduate next spring, has also reportedly been offered by such schools as Arkansas St., Georgia St., Central Michigan, Southern, Toledo, Southern Miss, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, Army, and Alabama St.
