The Alabama Crimson Tide is ranked number one in another preseason college football poll, which was released on Wednesday.

Alabama, who went 14-1 last season, losing to Clemson in the College Football Playoff National Championship, tops the Sports Illustrated top 25 poll.

Florida St. ranks second in the poll, while Ohio is third.

Alabama and Florida St., who are #1 and #2, respectively, open their respective seasons against each other, on September 2.

Oklahoma St. at number four, with USC at number five.

Rounding out the top ten is Oklahoma, defending national champion Clemson, Penn St., Washington, and Auburn, at 6-10, respectively.

Michigan begins the second ten, with Wisconsin at #12, and the LSU Tigers at #13.

LSU, who went 8-4 a season ago, begins their first full season under head coach Ed Orgeron on September 2, when they face BYU.

Louisville and Stanford are in spots 14 and 15.

Georgia, South Florida, Florida, Kansas St., and Miami rank 16-20, while West Virginia, Washington St., Texas, Virginia Tech, and Texas A&M round out the poll, at 21-25, respectively.
