Alabama Opens As 2017 Title Favorite, LSU Seventh

The Crimson Tide who fell to Clemson, 35-31, in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday night, has won four of the last eight national titles.
Florida St. is the second pick, at 7/1, with Ohio St. the third pick, at 15/2, followed by Michigan, Oklahoma, and USC, all at 9/1.
The LSU Tigers are the seventh pick, opening at 12/1.
Clemson, the 2016 national champs, opens with 16/1 odds to repeat, while Louisville, who returns Lamar Jackson, the 2016 Heisman Trophy winner, also opens up at 16/1.
