Alabama #1 in Both Polls

No surprise.  Alabama is #1.

The Crimson Tide, who dispatched Florida State 24-7 Saturday, received all but one first place vote in the Associated Press Poll, and 60 out of 65 number ones in the Amway Coaches Poll.

The top four teams were the same in both polls, with Ohio State ranked second, defending champion Clemson third and Penn State fourth.

The Seminoles, #3 last week, fell to tenth in the AP poll and ninth in the Amway poll.

LSU is #12 in both polls, up one in the AP and held steady with the coaches.

West Virginia and Texas both dropped out of both polls.
