The following is a game preview of the first round playoff matchup between Acadiana and Comeaux, written by the voice of the Acadiana Wreckin’ Rams, James P. Bitterman.

The Acadiana Wreckin' Rams (10-1) opened the playoffs in impressive fashion beating the Comeaux Spartans (4-7) 52-20.  The Wreckin' Rams were dominate in all phases of the game; holding the Spartans to 56 yards of total offense while rolling up 402 yards rushing; lead by Dillon Monette's 177 yards and 2 touchdowns and Ziggy Francis' 100 yards and 2 touchdowns.
This week the task gets significantly more difficult, as the Landry-Walker Charging Buccaneers (8-3) come to Bill Dotson Stadium.  The Charging Buccaneers lost their first three games of the season but have been unbeatable since then, winning 8 games in a row.  Landry-Walker seemed to hit their stride when they inserted Corione Harris at quarterback in week 4.  Harris has passed for 970 yards in 8 weeks and has 11 touchdowns passing and 2 interceptions.  He also has 663 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns.  Running back Chad Alexander has 135 rushing attempts on the year, 1,127 yards and 8 touchdowns.  Wide receiver Davonta Jason has 29 receptions, 520 yards and 5 touchdowns.
The Charging Buccaneers beat Walker last week 14-7.
The Wreckin' Rams win streak of 24 home playoff games under Head Coach Ted Davidson will be on the line as they face possibly the best team they have played at home in the last 13 years.
All the exciting action can be heard in the Acadiana area on espn 1420 am, on the internet at espn1420.com and on smart phone app radioPup.
THE PRE GAME SHOW WILL START FOLLOWING THE UL BASKETBALL GAME, and kickoff will be at 7:00 p.m.
The winner of this game will face the winner of East Ascension at Live Oak.  If Acadiana is victorious; they will be on the road next week regardless of the winner of the East Ascension vs Live Oak game.
