A special game preview, from the voice of the Wreckin’ Rams, James P. Bitterman

The Acadiana Wreckin Rams (4-3, 3-1) coming off of their best game of the season, a 35-20 win over Sulphur, look to celebrate Homecoming and improve on their two game winning streak this week when they host the Sam Houston Broncos (5-2, 2-2).

Last week the Acadiana Wreckin' Rams rushed for their highest total of the year with 353 yards on the ground.  The Terrible Turks did their part, holding the state's leading rusher, Derrick Guillory, to only 90 yards, and 40 of those yards came on the last drive with the Wreckin Rams leading 35-13.

With only three games left in the season, the Wreckin Rams currently have a number 11 power ranking.  A top 8 seed would give the Wreckin Rams a chance to have at least two, if not more games at home during this upcoming postseason.

The Sam Houston Broncos will bring the biggest offensive line the Wreckin Rams have seen this season to Bill Dotson Stadium tonight. The Broncos go 6-4, 308 at left tackle, 6-0, 270 at left guard, 6-1, 285 at center, 6-2, 324 at right guard, and 6-4, 265 at right tackle.

Next week the Wreckin' Rams travel to play the Carencro Golden Bears.

Remember, to be on the lookout for a special sign James P. Bitterman has had made.

The power ratings for District 3-5A look like this:
Carencro 10
Acadiana 11
Barbe 15
Sulphur 22
Sam Houston 24
Comeaux 37
Lafayette High 38
New Iberia 47
