Six 2019 LHSAA state championship games will be held this weekend at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

There will be five state championship games in the Non-Select Classification, including the Class 5A championship game, featuring the Acadiana High Wreckin' Rams, as well as one title game in the Select Classification.

Acadiana will be going after their first unbeaten season in school history while looking to win the 5th state championship in school history.

There will be three games on Friday, and three more on Saturday.

State championships in Divisions 1-3 were decided last weekend.

Two teams from the Acadiana area celebrated state championships last weekend, with St. Thomas More winning the Division II state crown and Lafayette Christian Acadiana capturing the Division III title.

The Divison IV state championship game will be first on the schedule, Friday at noon, with 5th-seeded Ouachita Christian taking on 7th-seeded Catholic-Point Coupee.

The second game on Friday schedule, slated for 3 o'clock, will be the Class 2A title game when top-seeded Ferriday tangles with second-seeded Many.

The third and final game on Friday, scheduled for 7 pm, will be the Class 3A title game, featuring top-seeded St. James and #23-seed Jennings.

The Class A state championship game is first on the docket on Saturday at noon, with 3rd-seeded White Castle squaring off with 4th-seeded Oak Grove.

The second game on Saturday, slated for 3:30 pm, will be the Class 4A title game when 3rd-seeded Edna Karr takes on 20th-seeded Warren Easton.

The final game on Saturday, and of the weekend, will be the Class 5A state championship game, slated for 7 o'clock, will feature top-seeded Acadiana and 7th-seeded Destrehan.
