14 home games, including one against a perennial national power highlight the 2019-2020 Louisiana Ragin' Cajun women's basketball schedule, which was released on Monday.

Louisiana is scheduled to play host to the Mississippi St. Bulldogs on Monday, December 16, in what is the most attractive home game on the schedule.

The non-conference match-up will mark the third-consecutive year that the two programs meet, with Mississippi St. winning games in Jackson and Starkville, in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

The Bulldogs have been one of the elite programs over the last three seasons, advancing to three-straight NCAA Elite 8 appearances, as well as back-to-back Final Four appearances in 2017 and 2018, while compiling an overall record of 104-10.

Hosting major programs is really nothing new to Louisiana however, after playing home games against the likes of Auburn (2017) and LSU (2018) over the last couple of years.

The Cajuns will take on Mississippi College (October 28) and Spring Hill (November 1), before hosting Loyola (New Orleans) in their season opener on Thursday, November 7.

Louisiana will play non-conference home games against Loyola, Missississippi St., McNeese St. (Nov. 14), Southeastern Louisiana (Nov. 17), and Xavier (New Orleans) (Dec. 2).

On the road, UL will travel to meet Sam Houston St. (Nov. 10), New Orleans (Nov. 17), Lamar (Nov. 25), Ole Miss (Nov. 20), and Jackson St. (Nov. 29).

The Cajuns begin Sun Belt Conference play on Thursday, January 2, when they travel to Atlanta, Georgia, to face Georgia St.
