The Louisiana Ragin' Cajun Baseball season is right around the corner and we got a chance to visit with some of the players from this years team.

Today we've got infielder, O'Neal Lochridge.

O'Neal Lochridge is a junior from Lafayette, LA. Lochridge is a transfer from in-state rival, LSU where he sustained a back injury that caused him to most of his freshman year in 2016 and all of 2017 before transferring back home to UL. In very limited action in 2016 Lochridge hit .229 (8-for-35) and out of those 8 hits he had three doubles and two home-runs. The ability is there, he now has to prove that he's healthy, I've dealt with a back injury playing baseball before and it's not an easy issue to play with.

Lochridge gives us his outlook on the 2018 season, transferring from LSU, recovering from his injury, what he worked on in the off-season, individual goals, and we played a little word association with him towards the end.

Coming up later today we'll hear from pitcher, Jack Burk.
