Ten former LSU football players have been invited to take part in the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine.

That number matches Alabama for the most in the SEC and marks the most for LSU since 2014, when they had 13 invited to the Combine.

Running back Leonard Fournette, receivers Travin Dural and Malachi Dupre, center Ethan Pocic, defensive tackle Davon Godchaux, defensive end Tashawn Bower, cornerback Tre'Davious White, safety Jamal Adams, linebackers Duke Riley and Kendell Beckwith have all been invited to participate.

Fournette and Adams are projected as early first round selections, while White is being projected by many as a second round pick.

Last year, LSU had five players selected in the 2016 NFL draft, including linebacker Deion Jones, who was selected first, in the second round by the Atlanta Falcons.

The last first round choice out of LSU was Odell Beckham, Jr., in 2014, by the New York Giants.

The 2017 NFL Draft is scheduled for Thursday, April 27-Saturday, April 29.
