Not even Drew Brees made the NFL's Pro Bowl Roster this season, which means the Saints won't be sending anybody to Hawaii.

The initial roster came out this week, and the Saints were one of only six teams (Saints, Bears, Colts, Jags, Chargers, Titans) that didn't have a single representative going to the Pro Bowl. There was one former Saint (Darren Sproles) on the list, but that doesn't quite count...

It doesn't necessarily say that nobody will wind up going in the place of players involved in the playoffs or suffering from injuries, but the initial statement from NFL voters was, "Nope, not good enough." There were four other NFC QB's (Cam Newton, Carson Palmer, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson), along with Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger, selected before Drew Brees, but that was really the only point of contention.

Remember, it's a fan vote for a pretty silly event. That being said, it says something about the lack of talent when you can't put a single person in the Pro Bowl.

The Panthers are out there strutting with 10 players on the squad. Think they help them win some games? On an even sadder note, even the Cleveland Browns got a pair of offensive linemen on the roster.

Don't get too hung up on the implications of the Pro Bowl voting, just realize how much help New Orleans needs getting back to championship level.
