The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers defeated Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team, 2-1, in the middle game of their weekend, Sun Belt Conference series, on Saturday. Ragincajuns.com has the story.

The scoring chances were slim Saturday afternoon at Nick Denes Field in Bowling Green, Ky., but Western Kentucky made the most of the two they had and walked off the field with a 2-1 victory over Louisiana.

The Hilltoppers grabbed the lead in the second inning on a two-out RBI double from Chris Bullard for an early 1-0 lead. That was all the noise the hosts made until a rally in the eighth inning.
