Veal, a native of Opelousas, and a product of St. Thomas More High School, has led Louisiana in scoring in each of her three seasons, including last season, when she averaged 14.9 points-per-game.

The 5-foot-6 Veal was a third team All-Sun Belt selection in 2014-2015, and was also named the Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI) MVP after averaging a team-high 21.0 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest, helping lead the Cajuns to the 2015 WBI Championship.

Wilridge, a native of Crowley, and also a product of St. Thomas More, averaged 12.3 points, while being arguably the best on the ball defender in the Sun Belt Conference.

The 5-foot-5 Wilridge, who recorded over 100 steals last season, as also named a All-Sun Belt Third Team selection.

The duo helped Louisiana to an overall record of 23-12 last season, including the Women's Basketball Invitational title.

The Cajuns open their 2015-16 regular season on November 15, when they travel to Oxford, Mississippi to take on Ole Miss.
