The Olympic opening ceremonies are tonight in London.  America will see it on a tape delay.

The torch lighting should be roughly 10:30 tonight.  And, as always, there are many rumors as to who will light the Olympic cauldron.

Of course, in Britain, you can get betting odds on almost anything.  Originally, the favorite was rower Steve Redgrave, who won medals in five different Olympic games.  Two time decathlon champion Daley Thompson was considered to be the biggest challenger.

But it seems sentiment has shifted to Roger Bannister, who ran the first sub-four minute mile in history.

However, that big honor usually goes to a former Olympic champion.  Bannister never won a medal at the Olympics.

And, if you want to get way out there, one website believes the torch lighter might be a rock star.

We'll find out tonight.
