Kevin Durant and the Western Conference All-Stars held off a furious rally from their Eastern Conference counterparts to hold on and win the NBA All-Star game 152-149. Durant scored 36 points to lead his team and earn MVP honors (pictured left).

Kobe Bryant passed Michael Jordan for most career points scored in the game after dropping 27 in the victory. Blake Griffin chipped in with 22 points as the West scored 89 points in the first-half, another All-Star game record.

The East was led by Miami Heat's LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. James scored 36 while Wade finished with a triple-double.
