Week 5 LSWA Football Polls

The latest LSWA high school football rankings were released on Monday, and 11 teams representing the Acadiana area are ranked in the respective polls, including the St. Thomas More Cougars, who top the 4A poll.

In Class 5A, the Acadiana Wreckin’ Rams are ranked ninth this week.

In Class 4A, St. Thomas More is ranked number one, with Rayne coming in at number six, Breaux Bridge at number nine, and Teurlings at number ten.

In the Class 3A poll, Notre Dame is ranked fifth, followed by Jennings, who is sixth, and Church Point, who is ranked eighth.

In Class 2A, Catholic-New Iberia is ranked third.

Finally, in Class 1A, Basile is ranked fifth, followed by Vermilion Catholic at number six.
