Washington Named SBC Player of the Week

Two more solid games by Louisiana forward Bryce Washington have earned him the latest Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week award.

The 6-6 junior from New Orleans averaged a double double this past week in wins over Loyola (NO) and Louisiana Tech.

Washington is the only player in the Sun Belt Conference averaging a double double for the season.  He is averaging 15.3 points and 11.2 rebounds per game.

He is the second Louisiana player to received the Player of the Week award from the league, joining Cajuns' guard Frank Bartley IV.
