Cajuns' junior lefty Jordan Harrison, who threw a complete-game one hitter in Louisiana's 2-1 baseball win over Western Kentucky Sunday, has been named Pitcher of the Week in the Sun Belt Conference.

And, freshman right-hander Jordan Wallace won the award in softball, after shutting out South Alabama twice over the weekend.

Harrison allowed only a solo home run by WKU's Ryan Huck in the second inning Sunday.  The lefty, making only his second start of the season, threw 120 pitches in a complete game.  He struck out a career-high eleven.  Harrison's longest outing prior to Sunday was six innings against Southern Mississippi.

Wallace fanned a career-high 16 in the Friday win over South Alabama in a ten-inning nail-biter won by the Cajuns 1-0.  She followed that up with a two hit shutout on Saturday, as the Cajuns got the three-game sweep over their conference rivals.

Cajuns softball will be busy this week, playing FIU in a three game series beginning Tuesday in Miami before heading to Murfreesboro this weekend to play Middle Tennessee.  The Cajuns baseball team travels to Southern Tuesday night before hosting FIU in a three game series this weekend.
