Vote for Acadiana’s Stryker Trahan as the Best Name in Minor League Baseball

Former Acadiana High baseball star and current minor league player Stryker Trahan is in the running for a prestigious award -- the best name in Minor League Baseball!

MiLB.com is currently running their annual Moniker Madness contest where they let fans vote on the coolest name in all of minor league baseball.

Voting ends this Thursday, August 29th and right now Stryker is in second place.

Lafayette native Mikie Mahtook is also amongst the players for who you can vote. He's in 26th place as of this article's publishing.

The voting is a little non-traditional. When you go to the site, you will have the option to vote for one of two players who are matched up head-to-head. Then two more players pop up, so it may be a few clicks before you can actually vote for Mahtook and Trahan.
