Jonathan Vilma's war against NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell continues.

The New Orleans Saints linebacker has told a federal judge he will file an injunction to stop his year-long suspension if it is not overturned on appeal.

The injunction is not related to the defamation lawsuit Vilma has already filed against Goodell.

The appeal was heard June 18th.  Goodell has yet to rule on any of the suspensions issued to the four players implicated in the Saints "Bounty-Gate" probe.

The Commissioner has until July 5 to respond to the defamation suit.
