Some terrible news coming out of Minnesota.

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who helped lead the Vikings to the NFC Central title, suffered what was termed as a "significant" knee injury at practice today.

The injury was not as a result of contact and happened about 30 minutes into what was the final Vikings' practice of the preseason.

Coach Mike Zimmer was quoted as saying, "It doesn't look good right now" when asked if Bridgewater would return this season.

The Vikings ended practice after Bridgewater was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
