Urlacher Rejoins Bears Following Mother’s Passing

Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher has returned to Chicago and practiced with the team today after leaving the team to be with family following the passing of his mother.

Lavoyda Lenard, 51, died in her home near Mt. Pleasant, Texas on Tuesday.  Police have said there was no evidence of foul play.

It is still not confirmed that Urlacher will play against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Since 2008, the Bears are 21-13 when Urlacher plays; 7-8 when he does not.
