Louisiana Ragin'  Cajun lefthander T. J. Geith has been drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays on day three of the Major League amateur draft.

The report on ragincajuns.com says Geith, a native of Peoria, AZ, was the 1200th overall player taken.  It is the second time that Geith has been drafted.

Notre Dame HS right-hander Austin Robichaux, a UL signee and son of Cajuns' baseball coach Tony Robichaux, was taken by the Cincinnati Reds in the 50th round.

Three LSU players were taken on day three as well.  Shortstop Austin Nola went to Toronto in the 31st round, second baseman Raph Rhymes was selected by Pittsburgh in the 40th round, and shortstop Tyler Hanover was also selected in the 40th round by the Yankees.
