UL Women’s Basketball Hosts North Texas – Game Preview
Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team is back in action on Wednesday, when coach Errol Rogers' squad plays host to the North Texas Mean Green, in Sun Belt Conference play at the Cajundome.
The game will mark the opening game of a UL women's/men's basketball doubleheader.
Louisiana will be looking to snap a nine-game losing streak, after a 55-52 setback to Arkansas St. last Saturday, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
The Cajuns, who have lost ten of their last 11 games, haven't won since defeating Bethune-Cookman, 72-67, back on December.
During that stretch however, they lost three games by four points, or less.
UL is currently 5-14 overall, and 0-7 in Sun Belt Conference play, while North Texas stands at 11-9 overall, and 4-3 in league play.
The Mean Green are led by junior forward Jasmine Godbolt, who is averaging 13.8 points, and 7.6 rebounds a game, while senior guard Krystal Motley paces the Cajuns, at 13.9 points a contest.
Tip-off time is scheduled for 5 o'clock.
UL freshman guard Bianca Davis
