Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team fell on the road in Sun Belt Conference action on Wednesday night, dropping a 56-45 decision to the UALR Trojans, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

UALR led it at the half, 29-23, and then outscored UL, 27-22, in the second half, to capture the 11-point win.

The Trojans out-shot the Cajuns from the field, 41%-34%, and were also able to out-rebound Louisiana by a 45-32 count.

Britteni Williams led UALR in scoring, with 15 points, while Krystal Motley paced UL in a losing cause with a game-high 17 points.

With the win, UALR improved to 9-10 overall, and 4-2 in Sun Belt Conference play.

The loss for the Cajuns was their eighth straight, and their ninth in their last ten games.

UL is now 5-13 overall, and 0-6 in league play.
