Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team will remain at home for the semifinals of the Women's Basketball Invitational on Thursday night, playing host to the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.

Tipoff time is scheduled for 6 o'clock at Earl K. Long Gym.

Louisiana, the #2-seed in the West Region, advanced to the semifinals with an opening round win over Texas-Pan American (78-56) before a second round victory over McNeese St. (63-58), both at Earl K. Long Gym.

The two WBI wins, the first two postseason triumphs in program history, improved the Cajuns to 21-12 on the season.

Oral Roberts, the #5-seed, advanced to the semifinal round of the WBI with road wins over Texas St. (57-54) and New Mexico (63-61).

The Golden Eagles, members of the Summit League, are currently 18-15 on the season.

This sets up a very interesting situation, in which UL will play host to two different postseason tournaments on the same night.

Of course, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team is also scheduled to appear in postseason play at home on Thursday, hosting Evansville in the quarterfinals of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament at Blackham Coliseum.

Tipoff time for the men's game is slated for 7:30 pm.

Should the Louisiana women win on Thursday, they would host either Siena or Mercer in the WBI finals Sunday at 4pm.
