Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team fell at home in Sun Belt Conference action on Wednesday evening, dropping a 51-43 decision to the South Alabama Jaguars, at Earl K. Long Gym.

South Alabama led at the half, 24-20, and then out-scored Louisiana, 29-23 in the second half, to take home the ten-point victory.

The Jaguars out-shot the Cajuns from the field, 38%-32%, and also finished with a 40-32 rebound advantage.

Ronneka Robertson led South Alabama, scoring a game-high 18 points, while Kia Wilridge paced Louisiana in a losing cause, with 17 points.

With the victory, the Jaguars improved to 10-6 overall, and 3-4 in Sun Belt Conference play, while the Cajuns fell to 7-9 overall, and 1-6 in league play.

Louisiana returns to action on Saturday, when they host Arkansas St., at 5 pm, at the Cajundome.
