UL Women Host Xavier In Exhibition Play

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun women’s basketball team returns to the hardwood on Thursday evening, playing host to Xavier (New Orleans) in an exhibition game at the Cajundome.

Admission is free.

Tipoff time is scheduled for 7 o'clock.

Louisiana won their first exhibition game, defeating LSU-Alexandria, 95-48, on Monday night.

The Cajuns, who will open up their 2015-2016 regular season schedule on Sunday, when they travel to Oxford, Mississippi, to take on Ole Miss, return all five starters, and nine letterwinners, from a team that went 23-12 last season, including the Women’s Basketball Invitational postseason tournament title.

The home opener for Louisiana is set for Thursday, November 19, when they play host to Southern-New Orleans.
